Welcome on my website.
Bertine founded Work Wise, a medium size consultancy firm on personal and organisational development, in 1995. She is combining a broad experience on people and organisational development, with the experience as a general manager.
Also since 1996 onwards she is working at Nyenrode Business University as an independent management coach in Executive and leadership development programmes, and as a guest lecturer at Hotelschool The Hague and Leiden University. Currently she is doing a Ph.D. at the TU Twente (division on change and leadership development) on wise and effective leadership.
As a learning and development consultant and executive coach she has a long-term experience in guiding individuals, teams and organizations with transitions and harvesting their talents. She has a broad experience in working with profit, non-profit companies such as Ahold, Akzo Nobel, Delta Lloyd, Air France KLM, SURFnet, Oikocredit, Achmea and the Ministerie of Justice. She has witnessed many executives and companies flourishing while using and addressing their potential in the right way. Both the small, every day decisions as the big life and organizational decisions can have a big impact on the flow of professional and organisational life.
“What is of particular interest to me is people’s motivations. What I do is apply a straight to the point approach on the basis of what is available. I investigate people’s true potential and the possible extension of their unique abilities. Making the right choices and taking the right decisions is of the essence in this process.”
She earned her masters degree as a psychotherapist (M.Sc.) and is operating as an Advanced certified Birkman® consultant since 1998. She is also a Registrated Career advisor on C level (CMI-C organizational level).
